Fried Black Pepper Yee Mee Recipe

A slight tweak on the classic Stir-fried Yee Mee recipe by adding black pepper during cooking. It spices up and enhances the flavour of the Yee Mee by providing a spicy hotness and delicious taste.

Ingredients

Chicken Meat, cut	200 g
AJI-SHIO® Flavoured Black Pepper	2 tsp
Cooking Oil	4 tbsp
Garlic	3 cloves
Button Mushrooms, sliced	5
Water	1 ½ cups
Sweet Soy Sauce	2 tsp
Yee Mee	200 g
Spring Onion, diced	2 stalks

Method

Mix chicken meat with 1 tsp AJI-SHIO^® Flavoured Black Pepper.
Heat cooking oil, stir-fry garlic until golden.
Add in chicken meat, stir-fry until half cooked.
Add in mushroom.
Add in water and season with 1 tsp AJI-SHIO^® Flavoured Black Pepper and sweet soy sauce, mix well.
Add in yee mee and let it boil. Cover the wok until yee mee has softened.
Sprinkle spring onion, mix well and serve.
