Caramelised Onion Burger Recipe

No one will be able to resist burgers topped with caramelised onion when the sweetness of onion crash with the butter and AJI-SHIO^®
Flavoured Pepper and Black Pepper, you gotta try it yourself!

Ingredients

Cooking Oil	Enough
Chicken/ Beef Burger Patty	4 pcs
AJI-SHIO® Flavoured Pepper	24 shakes
Margarine	40 g
Burger Bun, cut into 2 and spread margarine	4
Mayonnaise	Enough
Lettuce	4 pcs
AJI-SHIO® Flavoured Black Pepper	8 shakes

INGREDIENTS: CARAMELISED ONION

Unsalted Butter	100 g
Yellow Onion, sliced	400 g
Red Onion, sliced	200 g
AJI-SHIO® Flavoured Black Pepper	2 tsp
AJI-SHIO® Flavoured Pepper	4 tsp

Method

METHOD: CARAMELISED ONION

Melt butter in a pan, stir fry yellow onion and red onion until browned and wilted.
Season with AJI-SHIO^® Flavoured Black Pepper and AJI-SHIO^® Flavoured Pepper.
Divide 4 for 4 sets of burger.

METHOD: BURGER

Heat the cooking oil. Grill burger patty over medium heat until cooked through. Shake AJI-SHIO^® Flavoured Pepper 3 times on both sides of patty during cooking. Keep aside.
Toast the bun until slightly brown both sides.
On bottom bun, pipe on mayonnaise, place lettuce, burger patty, caramelised onion, then pipe mayonnaise and top with 2 shakes of AJI-SHIO^® Flavoured Black Pepper. Then place the top bun.

Tips: Keep the caramelised onions in airtight container and store in a refrigerator.
The caramelised onion can last up to 5 days.
